  • Game activity and records (such as prompts, results, conversation logs, and publicly displayed profiles)
  • IP address and device/browser information
  • Cookies and usage data (for authentication, analytics, and improving the Service)

We use your information to:

  • Enable gameplay and provide game features
  • Improve and analyze our Service
  • Prevent abuse and ensure fair play (including rate limiting)
  • Communicate important updates or notifications

3. How We Share Your Information

  • We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to operate the Service (e.g., cloud service providers like Supabase, OpenAI, and analytics providers).
  • We send your prompts and conversation text to the OpenAI API to generate dialogue. Please avoid including personal or sensitive information.
  • Game content you submit (e.g., prompts, profile name/comment) may be publicly displayed on the Service (e.g., Legends). Do not include personal or sensitive information.

4. Data Security and Retention

We take reasonable measures to protect your information using secure technologies and industry-standard practices. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, and ensure security and diagnostics. IP addresses may be temporarily processed and retained for a limited period solely for abuse prevention and rate limiting.

5. Your Rights

Because the Service operates without accounts or persistent identifiers, we generally cannot accommodate data-subject requests and will not collect additional identifiers solely to do so. If you provide sufficient details to allow reasonable verification (e.g., a specific game URL/token or an edit key), we may assess your request on a best-effort basis. Public game content (e.g., prompts, profile name/comment, results) may remain published except where removal is required by law.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not use the Service or provide any personal information.

7. International Users and Legal Bases

If you are located in the EEA/UK, we process data based on legal bases including performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., security, service improvement), and compliance with legal obligations. You have rights under applicable law, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability.

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt-out of certain data sharing. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CPRA.
